Bali - Last Day

Tanah Lot....a place which made me feel so much at peace, it is temple that is built by the sea...the waves that rams onto the rocks rams several meters up in the air...it mades you awe at nature. The landscape looks deeply corroded by the force the wave rams at the rock formation. Some knowledge of geography also reveals that this beach is destructive and might disappear in the future.

The destructive nature of the waves opens up a peaceful bay which actually is shallow enough to walk across towards a cave opposite for further worships. This part of the temple has also changed into a place of interest for most tourist as it offers a good sunset view over the horizon. It offers alot of subject for photography however my D60 is left with 2 bars of battery.

Luckily I am able to off the LCD screen and also removed the beep sound from the auto focus function and also the 2 sec review that also eats battery life. I am able to shoot at least another 200 pictures before the battery bar goes down to one.

The day was unbearably hot when we reached tanah lot temple and after some shopping, we left the temple with little memory left behind. Oh ya I drank like 3 bottles of pokari sweat LOL. The beach is good except we have very little time there, which is a waste.

We have to skip uluwantu because of time. Some background of uluwantu from derrick and raymond, like "temple by the cliff", "best sunset in Bali"...god!!!

We didn't have time to go to kuta beach at all because that bloody son of the bitch driver say that it will take us 3 hours to get there, so we planned for contingency plans, and that idiot deprived us of the best beach in bali!!! And this implications which is disappointing, this marks something, the Indonesian driver is very very dishonest...perhaps we will not pay him at all...hahaha

Reason...he thought that we are stupid and brought us for a ride... He told us that the ride to reach the restaurant is around an hour but it's only 15 minutes. Well there is something that derrick is good at, and that is to give a good dressing down and we are off to our own dinner somewhere 15 minutes away from the airport.

Anyway we did went to Kuta beach, however it was very dark at night and we couldn't see anything. The traffic there was well slow but all in all it took us only 20 minutes to reach Kuta Beach as raymond and derrick confirmed that it is very far from our location. It further flares me up...Kuta beach...gone from the itinenary....just because of such punk stuff that is given from the driver and the guide....

-_-

That is the end of the Bali Trip....short but fruitful, and reaps rewards in improvements in my photography skills by leaps and bounds...thanks to the guidance from Raymond and Garry, i am finally able to shoot pictures that have their own story, own dimensions....and I am very happy with my D60 and although there are opportunities to upgrade to a D80, i guess I'll pass....

I will try my best to get the photos out as soon as possible....
