I went to have fun during my weekends and I almost didn't want to finish up my work. Well lol. I got myself a wonderful dinner on friday with one of my more looked up person named Richard. Richard is a full-time real estate agent. His experience and knowledge are so deep that when you talk to him, all confidence will dissolve without a trace. I enjoyed my conversations with him, and through this particular conversation i learned alot without knowing. We talk about sales, the way to talk to people, and also some management tricks.


He thought that, when you wanted someone to have a particular feeling to you, you must feel the same towards that someone. Meaning if you want a person to respect you, you must first respect him. Although I always thought that I knew that, but I really never do it.

This is what he thought me, about talking, or simply put; negotiation.

1) Steer
2) Manage
3) Control


Steer the situation towards yourself. Stay away from your odds. Manage the situation properly, then control it. The 3 steps towards a successful negotiation is to gain some grounds from the deal. Meaning to talk towards your advantage then take the advantage as your ground to take more. Easier said then done, I believe. However, it is possible.

Once I was afraid to ask for payment from people, because I believe that it is very bad to do it, because it will seems that you are irritating. Well, nowadays i feel that the grounds are on my side, and the odds is with me. I have the reason to ask for payment, I don't feel afraid anymore, in fact i learned to get what I deserved.

I'm glad that there is people around me to enlighten me.

Did I mention that i hate waiting, well i was waiting for a friend here, bored, anyway I really love the lights for Heeren, it change colours. This one is a nice blue to purple gradient.

I was wondering how it balance itself. How does the glass hold that. After I thought about it, it isn't a big deal....

Saturday and Sunday went through without much incident. Well I just have to say that, I love my girlfriend very much. May she have a wonderful day on Monday, and the blues just go away...

Well, what can I say. When I say that heaven is unfair to me for a certain thing in my life, it return to me in another way. I said that, "Heaven! Why are you so unfair. When people can earn so much in their life and I only earn such pathetic peanuts". The remark must have alert some kind of detection sensors in heaven and send a message to whoever is in charge up there. They return to me something incredible. Which is a very simple thing really, and that is "The Opportunity to Learn". How many times I will skim through a book and then evaluate it with the very least information i got from the skim saying that it is good or not good. How many times I was recommended a book but I didn't bother to look for it. How many times I was taught something but I didn't bother to think about it. How many .... How many .... Too many! I discovered that this is the seventh entry to this blog. Double-O 7, sounds so James Bond haha. Another day passed without any real happening event. However there is some things that is worth remembering and also some ideas that might be useful in future. Met up with a senior director of a real estate company which happens to be an semi-professional photographer. We are suppose to meet up and chat about the possiblities of printing flyers and also something about his bookmarks. After talking so much about our hobbies, which is photography, i find that he became more friendly. I guess that is what happen when you get into a topic which the person is interested in, he will talk more. After he saw the postcard with a good photograph of the nightscene of orchard shot from on top of Fort Canning hill, he was amused and entertained by the picture.
