A Birthday BBQ

I'm sitting in my girlfriend's house writing today's entry...firstly...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAWN!

I'm thinking about today's bbq...it's quite nostalgic. Seems like the bbq i had years back with my secondary schoolmates, whom almost all I have forgotten. Well it was a grouping of new friends for now. A bbq...

BBq...maybe it is because i have never had a really good bbq in my life...well perhaps it is because there is never a bbq that is really fun in my life...i was laughing today, smiling and socialising, but it was never...fun...

I never really ate in bbqs come to think of it...it was never once that I really ate until I throw up or something. Today there were things that i was pissed off with, and also things that made me laugh truly...and also a negative demostration of Mario Kart DS with changchun and his gf...Throwing turtle shells backwards? Rings a bell to me...and it's really something that I have never done for a long time...it made me...wanted to go back to NDS for a while...maybe I will try to get rid of the old one and get the Lite version next...

I never have money for such stuff anyway...

Well it is truly something ironic in my case. Hopefully in my new career I will be able to afford that luxury.

Alwyn tells me that he is going to get a mazda 3 soon. I told him that next time I will want a ride in that and perhaps I will get something and we can go "eat wind" sometimes...together, drifting along roads on high speed...that is something interesting for a change...

I am really scared a high speed corners...perhaps at that stage which i am in control of the car...i will be as calm as if I am playing ridge racer 7 on the PS3...not forgetting that the TV is like 46 inches and i am in a comfortable seat...well~ I think too much i guess...LOL.

Did I mention that Changchun has a cute girlfriend? To add it up...she has a kawaii NDS lite full of decorations...there is a question about Changchun and Shawn....who look younger...i guess no one can answer that question for a long time...well...I think that shawn look younger...i didn't say another at that moment of time...perhaps...just because I want to keep quiet...

Well, what can I say. When I say that heaven is unfair to me for a certain thing in my life, it return to me in another way. I said that, "Heaven! Why are you so unfair. When people can earn so much in their life and I only earn such pathetic peanuts". The remark must have alert some kind of detection sensors in heaven and send a message to whoever is in charge up there. They return to me something incredible. Which is a very simple thing really, and that is "The Opportunity to Learn". How many times I will skim through a book and then evaluate it with the very least information i got from the skim saying that it is good or not good. How many times I was recommended a book but I didn't bother to look for it. How many times I was taught something but I didn't bother to think about it. How many .... How many .... Too many! I discovered that this is the seventh entry to this blog. Double-O 7, sounds so James Bond haha. Another day passed without any real happening event. However there is some things that is worth remembering and also some ideas that might be useful in future. Met up with a senior director of a real estate company which happens to be an semi-professional photographer. We are suppose to meet up and chat about the possiblities of printing flyers and also something about his bookmarks. After talking so much about our hobbies, which is photography, i find that he became more friendly. I guess that is what happen when you get into a topic which the person is interested in, he will talk more. After he saw the postcard with a good photograph of the nightscene of orchard shot from on top of Fort Canning hill, he was amused and entertained by the picture.
