Photography of a Cosplay

Actually alot of people ask me about doing photography, I think I am more to being a digital photographer that after the photography is done, I will actually bring the photo into Photoshop and do up the image. I felt that quite alot of the cosplayers actually spent alot of time in their costumes to make sure that the cosplay event they are actually looking nice. While quite alot of people actually criticised our local cosplayers to be well "un-chio" or look like shit....

What I felt is that the heart is there and I will photograph them and ask them to give me some poses that I thought will compliment their photo and will look cute in a sense. While in photoshop, make some changes and then send it to them in appreciation. Although some of the works take a while, (I'm also quite busy la), most of the time i get comments like "i like it", "thanks photographer" etc...although as a photographer and I like original color, such changes are usually done to bring value to the photos...

I had been talking to my boss about bring value, and most of the time I felt that bring value is only true when the people sees the value and understand that such a value had been brought before them. Some appreciates true color while some appreciates false color or even make them look different in a way. Thus is the reason why some color correction is being done on this post.

Well, what can I say. When I say that heaven is unfair to me for a certain thing in my life, it return to me in another way. I said that, "Heaven! Why are you so unfair. When people can earn so much in their life and I only earn such pathetic peanuts". The remark must have alert some kind of detection sensors in heaven and send a message to whoever is in charge up there. They return to me something incredible. Which is a very simple thing really, and that is "The Opportunity to Learn". How many times I will skim through a book and then evaluate it with the very least information i got from the skim saying that it is good or not good. I discovered that this is the seventh entry to this blog. Double-O 7, sounds so James Bond haha. Another day passed without any real happening event. However there is some things that is worth remembering and also some ideas that might be useful in future. Met up with a senior director of a real estate company which happens to be an semi-professional photographer. We are suppose to meet up and chat about the possiblities of printing flyers and also something about his bookmarks. After talking so much about our hobbies, which is photography, i find that he became more friendly. I guess that is what happen when you get into a topic which the person is interested in, he will talk more. After he saw the postcard with a good photograph of the nightscene of orchard shot from on top of Fort Canning hill, he was amused and entertained by the picture.
