Christmas Eve @ Riverine

I am quite surprised at the amount of fun that I had yesterday night until the twilight today. I mean it is damn interesting that the day began uninteresting even to a state of boring. I am playing cards in my auntie’s house from 3pm all the way to 6pm and lost around 8 bucks. However, well it is for fun and I’m glad that the others are having so much fun about winning a few dollars for their 4D. Lol…

I am also celebrating that I am able to get pass level 14 in Lumines which earns me a new song to choose when playing single player mode. Lol, I wonder if who cares about this anyway.

About 5 past 7, my darling drops into auntie’s house. Well she surprised me with a really “chiong” look. Something that I never seen in her for a long time. Well it is pleasant and I’m extremely pleased. I mean, she look gorgeous…kind of remind me of the song which Kelvin and Teck always sing in the KTV, “You look beautiful tonight”, or something like that, I can’t really remember :P.

We went to riverine which is situated at the roundabout near Robertson Quay for a countdown. We went in at about 9pm. Well that is what my boss tell me just to get a seat there. Well we got a seat an chill for about 3 hrs till Christmas. Anyway Shirley and the boss is around and immediately they recognize me, unfortunately we can’t drink the wine that we left there about 2 nights before. So we have to open a new one -_-. So we just sat down enjoying the cool R&B music the DJ is playing.

Got to know a waitress there as well, oh well a partime one named Joanna. Young but mischievous lol. Oh well, I saw her being carried by an American looking guy, and after asking about the incident, she said, “The American just want to test whether she is 43kg or 34kg”, made both my darling and myself laugh so hard. Oh well, there is a lot of crazy things around in pub…

On the stroke of 12 midnight, the party poppers popped, and the ribbon spraycans are unleashed, the whole pub turns chaotic as everyone is hugging each other, saying merry Christmas, while Joanna and Shirley and all the other girls are targets of the Ribbon Spraycans….oh well poor Darling is aimed by Joanna with the spraycans…haha, she is so innocent. Anyway my Darling had her share of fun with the party poppers….Popp!

Me? Well the American Man, Joanna and the people behind turns me into a live target. Lol, no horses run de…tio until quite jialat. Well, it is fun!! I wish my gang is there as well…lol, I tell you guys, if you guys read this…you guys just missed out on a lot of fun lol!!

Well, what can I say. When I say that heaven is unfair to me for a certain thing in my life, it return to me in another way. I said that, "Heaven! Why are you so unfair. When people can earn so much in their life and I only earn such pathetic peanuts". The remark must have alert some kind of detection sensors in heaven and send a message to whoever is in charge up there. They return to me something incredible. Which is a very simple thing really, and that is "The Opportunity to Learn". How many times I will skim through a book and then evaluate it with the very least information i got from the skim saying that it is good or not good. How many times I was recommended a book but I didn't bother to look for it. How many times I was taught something but I didn't bother to think about it. How many .... How many .... Too many! I discovered that this is the seventh entry to this blog. Double-O 7, sounds so James Bond haha. Another day passed without any real happening event. However there is some things that is worth remembering and also some ideas that might be useful in future. Met up with a senior director of a real estate company which happens to be an semi-professional photographer. We are suppose to meet up and chat about the possiblities of printing flyers and also something about his bookmarks. After talking so much about our hobbies, which is photography, i find that he became more friendly. I guess that is what happen when you get into a topic which the person is interested in, he will talk more. After he saw the postcard with a good photograph of the nightscene of orchard shot from on top of Fort Canning hill, he was amused and entertained by the picture.
